Teaching Assistant – SEMH Secondary School Location: Bilston Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Contract: Temporary to Permanent Pay Rate: Competitive daily rate dependent on experience Smart Education is currently recruiting for a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a secondary SEMH school in Bilston. This is a rewarding temp-to-perm opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs and helping them achieve both academically and personally. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide tailored support to secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. You will help create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment while building positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and emotional regulation.
